Canadian wheat and barley exports decrease by 61.2% from the previous week

On May 26th, the latest data released by the Canadian Grain Commission shows that as of the week ending on May 21st, Canadian wheat and barley exports decreased by 61.2% from the previous week to 144,400 metric tons, compared to 372,500 metric tons in the preceding week. From August 1st, 2022 to May 21st, 2023, Canada’s wheat and barley exports reached 16,125,500 metric tons, an increase of 72.5% compared to the same period last year, which was 9,346,700 metric tons. As of May 21st, Canada’s commercial wheat and barley inventory was 2,007,600 metric tons.
